Cowan Capital Advisors is an independent, fee-only investment advisory firm that serves US based families, offering customized investment solutions for each client. The firm has a minimum account funding requirement of $2.0 million. However, a certain discretionary flexibility may be available in individual cases if we believe we can genuinely add value to a smaller size relationship.
Management Fees
Cowan Capital Advisors has a minimum funding requirement of $2.0 million.
- Assets Under Management between $2.0 million - $4.999 million the management fees are 1.125%
- Assets Under Management between $5.0 million - $10 million the management fees are 1.0%
- Assets Under Management over $10 million management fees are negotiable
We bill in arrears at the end of every month. Management fees are assessed on the average monthly AUM. All fees are deducted directly from the managed accounts at our custodian.
Financial plans are charged at $500/hour. Payments can be deducted directly from a managed account or remitted by check. The account establishment process at Cowan Capital Advisors is quick and hassle-free, with the custodian being able to establish a new account in under one minute and initiate the transfer from the current custodian within two minutes. The standard ACAT transfer process takes about 5-7 business days.
